Programming for portable, mobile and base radios
A radio may power on and transmit, but that does not mean it is configured correctly for the system. Homestead Radio Systems can review existing programming, build a consistent channel plan, and configure compatible radios to match the intended operation.

License-aware programmingBefore adding frequencies to a commercial radio, we want to understand who is authorized to use them and whether the emission and operating mode are consistent with the FCC authorization.
Adding radios to an existing fleet
If you have existing radios that work correctly, we can often use a known-good configuration as a reference while still checking model compatibility and licensing. Newer and older radios may require different programming software, feature licenses, or configuration methods.
What to send us
The manufacturer, exact model number, quantity of radios, FCC call sign if applicable, and a description of how the radios are currently used are the best starting points.
