Many coverage and reliability problems can be narrowed down from the radio room or other accessible points. We can inspect the equipment, test the RF path, review grounding and power, and help identify when specialized antenna or tower work is needed.
Site support can include
- SWR and return-loss checks with appropriate test equipment
- Accessible feedline and connector inspection
- Grounding and bonding observations
- Equipment-room wiring and labeling
- Repeater, duplexer and radio checks
- Power supply and backup-power checks
- Documentation and photographs
- Coordination with qualified tower or antenna contractors when climbing is required
